Delbert (Deb) F. Hanna, age 47, brother of Harold Hanna, Mrs. Vernon Snoddy and Mrs. Ralph Vaughan, all of Covington and vicinity, died unexpectedly at his home at 1511 N. Gilbert St., Danville, Sunday, Sept. 9, at 8:45 a. m. He had been in ill health two years. Born May 10, 1915, at Covington, he was a son of Cleve and Leota Gouty Hanna. He had resided at the Gilbert St. address the past 12 years. Mr. Hanna was employed as a truck driver by the McCalman Construction Co. He was a member of the Sidell Lodge 798, F&AM, Danville Scottish Rite, Gao Grotto, Skippers and Greeters Club of the Gao Grotto, the Pleasant Grove Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Teamsters Local. Surviving are his wife, Lucille; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Dare of Perrysville, Mrs. Vernon (Marie) Snoddy of Covington Rt. 1, and Mrs. Ralph (Bernice) Vaughan, Covington Rt. 1; two brothers, Harold of Covington Rt. 3, and Harlan of Attica; and his father, Cleve Hanna of Veedersburg. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. today, Sept. 12, at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home in Danville. The Rev. Edward Young officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park with Masonic rites by the Sidell Lodge.  --typed by Walt W
